Techniques

Spinal Manipulation

Hands on technique used to apply a controlled thrust ( that is, a force of a specific magnitude or degree in a specific direction) to the joint to restore correct movement.

S.O.T

Sacro Occipital Technic (SOT) is a gentle chiropractic technique that addresses the functional relationship between the Sacrum (base of the spine) the pelvis and the occiput (base of the skull).  It aims to restore the flow of the cerebral spinal fluid within the spine.

Activator and Drops

The activator and drop pieces are a chiropractic tool that is used as an alternative to spinal manipulation.  They are both spring loaded, low force techniques that delivers an impulse into the joint or muscle.

Webster's Technique

The Webster's technique is a very gentle chiropractic adjustment used during pregnancy.  It focuses on aligning the pelvis and releasing associated soft tissue and muscle groups.

Soft Tissue Techniques

We believe that it is important to loosen surrounding muscles in order to get joints moving correctly.

A number of techniques are used including:

  • dry needling
